The first victory of Ulyss Morinda at 140 CSI 3*, in September 2016

Ulyss Morinda has just proved to us that he is improving quickly, as at the CSI of Bonheiden in Belgium on the tenth of September 2016 he gave us a superb victory, first in the 140 class amongst a field of 69. There were many nations represented there, amongst which an English combination finished second, a Dutch pair were third and others present were from Belgium (of course), France, Spain, the USA, Mexico and others. It was his first victory over 140 and we are naturally very proud of him. A big bravo is due to Rik Hemeryck who has brought him to this level of competition.

You should take note that the course at the Jumping of Bonheiden is particularly difficult, being very spooky with enormous advertising panels! Some nervous horses would not jump well (probably not at all) in such circumstances. I should also point out that the collecting ring is very small. But Ulyss was never ill at ease at all and he and Rik make a very redoubtable pairing.
