A son of Ulyss Morinda just joined us
A few years ago we sold a very good mare, Idylle des Touches, a grand daughter of the famous TANAGRA (the mother of Jalisco B), a mare who is full of quality and spirit…to a friend who was looking for a brood mare. And we advised her to put her in foal to Ulyss Morinda.
Idylle proved to be in foal from her first insemination and eleven months later on the 29th of March 2014 a superb colt arrived. We were very surprised by his coloration…. Uther was a Pie but 90% of his coat is white. Since then Ulyss has proved that he is able to throw normal coloured foals but it is a fact that his first coloured foal gave us a big surprise.
Uther has grown, always being well looked after. He has had a very happy foalhood, surrounded by other foals in magnificent pastures. It was clear that he would resemble his father closely…it’s true to say he is the portrait of Ulyss!
A short while ago we learnt that he was about to be put up for sale. He has already been broken in and showed an out of the ordinary scope over poles, with enormous suppleness. Apparently Ulyss has passed on not just his looks but also his style and his capablities! That is without even talking about his exceptional character which is exactly the same: Uther is just as easy and gentle as his father!
